Places of detention of horses with identity of holders — Rhône-Alpes

The rules (Article D.212-50 et seq. of the Rural Code) are intended to list all places likely to accommodate equidae, temporarily or permanently, with a view to putting in place the necessary health measures in the event of an epidemic. Since July 25, 2010, holders of horses must register with the Institut français du cheval et de l’Equesterie (IFCE). The address of the parking place(s) of the animals shall be indicated in this declaration. Thus, the spatial data set presents these places of parking or holding of horses declared to IFCE in Rhône-Alpes. These data shall include the identities of the horse keepers. Only the State departments in charge of control (prefect of department, police, gendarmerie, customs, veterinary services, fraud control, youth and sports directorate) are intended to be the recipient of this set of data.
