Dataset description
**Digitised Local Urban Planning Plan (LUP)**
This lot informs about the right to build 90 municipalities out of 95 of the Métropole Européenne de Lille. Not included: the PLUs of Allennes-les-Marais, Annœullin, Bauvin, Canin and Provin. This PLU is digitally translated into conformity with the national requirements of the CNIG from the management base of the MEL PLU.
**Zoning**
Zoning is described in the urban planning code on the basis of a strict partition, without possible intersection, in the four types of areas (urban, to be urbanised, agricultural, natural and forestry).
Article R 151-17. The Regulation delimits, on graphic document(s), urban areas, areas to be urbanised, agricultural areas, and natural and forest areas. It lays down the rules applicable within each of those zones under the conditions laid down in Articles R 151-9 to R 151-50.
* Zones U: Article R 151-18. Urban areas are referred to as U-zones. Can be classified as urban areas, areas already urbanised and sectors where existing or under construction public facilities have sufficient capacity to serve the buildings to be installed.
* Zones AU: Article R 151-20. The areas to be urbanised are referred to as ‘AU zones’. May be classified as an area to urbanise the areas of the municipality intended to be open to urbanisation (...)
* Zones A: Article R 151-22. Agricultural areas are referred to as ‘areas A’. Sectors of the municipality, whether equipped or not, to be protected because of the agronomic, organic or economic potential of agricultural land may be classified as agricultural areas (...)
* Zones N: Article R 151-24. Natural and forest areas are referred to as N zones. Areas of the municipality, whether or not equipped, may be classified as natural and forest areas, to be protected either by reason of the quality of the sites, natural environments and spaces, landscapes and their interest, in particular from the aesthetic, historical or ecological point of view, the existence of forestry, their nature as natural areas, or the need to prevent the risks of flood expansion in particular.
