Dataset description

Road marker point also known as PLO (Location Point). Physically materialised in the field by painted marks associated with terminals or pads known as “PR”. Located on the left side of the roadway in the direction of increasing numbering of PRs, this object allows the linear referencing (longitudinal location system) of events or objects, along the axes of the departmental road network. They are approximately 1 000 m apart. — Update February 2016 For more information, guide to the identification and location of the departmental road network of Hautes-Alpes: http://www.cete-aix.fr/imgarea/Cotita11_10guideSIR_CG05.pdf The latest updates of this data are available from the opendata website of the Departmental Council of Ain (CD 01): http://departement-ain.opendata.arcgis.com
