The product “Urban Atlas” Copernicus provides comparable layers of high-resolution land use and occupancy between different urban areas. The nomenclature comprises 27 classes (17 urban and 10 non-urban). 305 European urban areas were mapped in 2006 (including Rennes), and 800 urban areas were mapped in 2012 and 2018 (including Rennes, Brest, Lorient, Saint-Brieuc, Vannes, Quimper). The smallest mapped area is 0.25 ha. The product “Urban Atlas” has a spatial accuracy of ± 5 m and a thematic accuracy of at least 85 % for urban classes and 80 % for all classes. Its use scale is 1/10 000. It is produced by the “Territory” service of the European Earth Observation Programme Copernicus. This sheet gives you access to WMS feeds and data download links on the Copernicus website. For displaying WMS streams, the raster product is displayed at low zoom levels and the product vector at high zoom levels.
