The Regional Ecological Coherence Schema (SRCE) is the regional framework document for the implementation of the green and blue frame.
The scheme is drawn up by the State and the Region in a framework widely agreed with the actors in the region.
It aims to combat the degradation and fragmentation of natural environments, protect biodiversity, participate in adaptation to climate change and sustainable spatial planning.
Pursuant to Article R. 371-29 of the Environmental Code, the SRCE Auvergne includes a mapping atlas representing the elements of the regional green and blue frame (diversity reservoirs, diffuse corridors, linear corridors, Japanese step thermophile corridors, rivers, water bodies) mapped on a scale of 1:100,000. Each of these elements is associated with a preservation or restoration objective, as specified in the Action Plan and Annex 4 of the CERS.
Grass strips and wetlands, spot and scattered on the territory, are not mapped at 1/100 000, but are an integral part of the regional green and blue frame.
In order to facilitate the use and implementation of the CERS other non-regulatory map elements shall be made available:
— auvergnat eco-landscapes
— the natural regions of Auvergne
— dense urban areas
