Dataset description
La Réserve de Biosphère de l’Archipel de la Guadeloupe a été désignée par l’UNESCO en 1992. Il s’agit d’une reconnaissance mondiale pour un territoire doté d’écosystèmes de grande qualité. Cette réserve est constituée de trois zones distinctes. La donnée présente concerne la zone de transition.
Aire de transition (195 318 ha) comprend l’aire d’adhésion et l’aire maritime adjacente du Parc national, qui comprend la zone RAMSAR (Convention de RAMSAR signée par la France en 1986, relative aux zones humides d’importance internationale, particulièrement comme habitats des oiseaux d’eau).
