Dataset description

For natural PPRs, the Environmental Code defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures can be foreseen to avoid exacerbating the risk. Depending on the hazard level, each area is subject to an enforceable settlement. The regulations generally distinguish three types of zones: 1- ‘Building prohibited areas’, known as ‘red areas’, where the hazard level is high and the general rule is the prohibition on construction; 2- ‘prescribed areas’, known as ‘blue zones’, where the hazard level is average and the projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of issue; 3- areas not directly exposed to risks but where constructions, works, developments or farms, agricultural, forestry, craft, commercial or industrial could aggravate risks or cause new ones, subject to prohibitions or requirements (cf. Article L562-1 of the Environmental Code). The latter category applies only to natural RPPs. The PPR terrain movement of Mont-Dore defines 5 regulatory zones: — Zone R1 with high hazard and high vulnerability located on exit Clermont-Ferrand road city, is the only urbanised area in the commune of Mont-Dore located in the vault; it specifically concerns a section of the road to Clermont-Ferrand where is located about twenty individual houses threatened by blockfalls coming from the Angle cliff. — Zone R2 with high hazard and intermediate to low vulnerability concerns large areas unurbanised often located in the mountains in steep slopes or in areas of major spread of landslides, mudslides or mudslides or landslides. There are no constructions in these areas. — Zone B1 with medium and high vulnerability nevertheless remains constructable through the application of preventive measures — Zone B2 with medium and intermediate or low vulnerability nevertheless remains constructable through the application of preventive measures — Zone J is deemed to be low risk. This area is only concerned by recommendations for new constructions and extensions of more than 20 m²
