PPRMT 2009 de Saint Viance — Corrèze
Plan for the Prevention of Natural Risks of Field Movements (PPRMT) in the northwest sector of the commune of Saint-Viance (in Corrèze)
Natural PPRs are established in accordance with the provisions of Article L. 562-1 of the Environmental Code. The regulatory mapping translates into a geographical demarcation of the territory concerned by the risk. This delimitation defines areas in which specific regulations apply. These by-laws are valid as easement. As such, depending on the intensity of the hazard, they regulate the use of the land or its use by demarcating areas where new constructions and installations are prohibited in order not to aggravate the risk, and areas where constructions and installations may be authorised subject to compliance with requirements.
The PPRMT on the northwest sector of the commune of Saint-Viance was approved on 3 November 2009. After several disturbances related to soil instability, the hazards were analysed according to the geological formations in the presence, hydrogeology, and morphology. Depending on the intensity of the hazard and the present challenges, three areas have been defined: a medium hazard zone, classified as a blue zone (built subject to compliance); a strong hazard area with stakes, classified as an urbanable orange zone only for individual housing and the open-air hotel industry subject to compliance with requirements and a strong hazard area with no stakes classified as an inconstructible area.
