Includes service levels and thaw barriers. — Service levels represent the estimate of the road in current winter conditions; roads are classified into 4 service levels, S1 (intensive service) to S4 (morning after other services). — Thawing barriers correspond to tonnage limitation measures, which can be taken to protect the road during thawing; they may be set up sectorally or globally on the department, by order of the President of the CG.
