L’aléa induit traduit la probabilité que se déclare, en un point du territoire, un incendie de forêt d’une ampleur donnée. C'est donc celui auquel est exposé un massif forestier du fait de la présence d'activités humaines à proximité des zones boisées (départ de feu pouvant se propager au massif et gagner en ampleur. Cinq niveaux d'aléas sont obtenus : très faible, faible, moyenne, forte et très forte.
