Le PGRI Loire-Bretagne demande aux PPRI de cartographier, une crue d'occurrence millénale. Il s'agit d'une cartographie informative mais le règlement s'y réfère lorsque un projet est lié à un établissement sensible. Le critère hauteur de submersion est le seul qui caractérise l'aléa. Les isocotes de cette cartographie de l'aléa permettent d'estimer en tout point l'altitude atteinte par cette crue.
