Employment zones 2020 on 1 January 2020 in the department of Haute-Marne and the neighbouring departments.
An area of employment is a geographical area within which most of the workers reside and work.
The division into employment areas is a partition of the territory adapted to local labour market studies. It serves as a reference for the dissemination of localised unemployment rates and job estimates. This zoning is defined for both metropolitan France and the French overseas departments.
The updated breakdown is based on the commuting flows of workers observed in the 2016 census.
