Dataset description

Since 1983, the state of natural disaster due to flooding has been recognised 24 times in the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, of which 22 are due to floods and mudslides. Among these natural disasters, the August 1983 and October 2018 floods particularly affected the Garonnette watershed. If the watershed of the river “L’Argens” has a P.P.R.I. no documents are available to date for the river “La Garonnette” and its 2 main tributaries “the valley of the Agasses” and “the valley of Esquières”. The Garonnette Mixed Union commissioned a hydraulic study by EGIS to map the flooding hazards associated with the Garonnette and tributaries. These studies were the subject of a Porter to Knowledge notified to the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens on 18 February 2020. The document thus specifies the conditions for taking flooding hazard into account for the control of urbanisation according to the different hazard levels identified: — low; — moderate; strong to very strong.Since 1983, the state of natural disaster due to flooding has been recognised 24 times in the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, of which 22 are due to floods and mudslides.
