The hazard map is the result of the study of hazards, including hydraulic modelling of the centennial flood. Indeed, the reference flood is a modelled centennial flood because the territory concerned has no trace of a historical flood at least equivalent in terms of occurrence. The submersion height criterion is the only criterion that characterises the hazard. Indeed, the criterion of flood dynamics is not such as to alter the hazard established on water heights. Thus the flood zone of the centennial flood is divided into four homogeneous hazard zones depending on the height of submersion. The hazard areas at the rear of the protective structures are shown. Precautionary zones related to containment are mapped.
