Dataset description

Classification of municipalities in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in relation to the risk of forest fires. The policy to prevent the risk of forest fires in the Hautes-Pyrénées is formalised by the Protection Against Forest Fire Protection Plan (PPCIF). This plan, the guiding principles and content of which are set out in the inter-ministerial circular of 26 March 2004, is valid for 7 years from 2 July 2007, the date on which the PPCIF was approved by the Prefect of the Hautes-Pyrénées. The Prefectural Decree of Approval with its two annexes, the PPCIF and the list of municipalities concerned, are available for download on the website of Riques Majeurs in the Hautes-Pyrénées, see address mentioned below.
