Dataset description
Launched in 2018, the Green Transition Contracts (CTE) reflect France’s environmental commitments (Climate Plan, COP21, One Planet Summit) at local level. They are tools for the ecological transformation of voluntary territories, around sustainable and concrete projects.
Set up by one or more intercommunalities, the CTE is co-built on the basis of local projects, between local authorities, the state, businesses, associations... The territories are accompanied at technical, financial and administrative levels by the State services, public institutions and communities. Signed after six months of work, the ETC sets an action programme with precise commitments and results objectives.
