Dataset description

This file presents, as of December 22, 2017, for the Cantal, all the electrical substations owned or co-owned RTE. The substations receive, transform and distribute electrical energy. Some of them are comparable to interchanges between a motorway and a national or departmental road. It is the “source stations” which, by lowering the high and very high voltage in medium to low voltage, allow electricity to switch from the transmission grid to the distribution grid.
