Dataset description

This dataset contains the perimeters of the gas installations (surface objects) on the perimeter of the New Aquitaine region. PLEASE NOTE: This JDD is not exhaustive on the perimeter of the New Aquitaine region but concerns the perimeter of the former Limousin region. Class I3 easements relate to easements related to the transportation of natural gas. These are the easements listed in Article 35, as amended, of the Law of 8 April 1946 on the nationalisation of electricity and gas, and in Article 12 of the Law of 15 June 1906 on energy distributions, in particular: — the easement of felling of trees which may be used by the holder of a natural gas transport authorisation when laying pipes, — and the easement of passage enabling underground pipes to be permanently established on unbuilt private land, which are not enclosed by walls or other equivalent fences. These easements extend without ownership dispossession: the owner retains the right to demolish, repair, raise, close or build, subject to notifying the dealer one month before starting the work. This resource describes the linear generators of Class I3 easements, namely gas transmission and distribution pipelines.
