Simple download service (Atom) of the dataset: Reference hydrometric stations at nodal points in the Rhine-Meuse basin (SDAGE 2016-2021)

The nodal points for water management defined in general downstream of the hydrographic reference units for the Water Management and Management Schemes* (SAGE*) and/or within such units, the contours of which can be determined by the Water Management and Management Master Schemes (SDAGE*). At these points can be defined according to the general objectives chosen for the unit, the flow benchmarks* and quality. Their location is based on criteria of hydrographic, ecosystem, hydrogeological and socio-economic coherence. (Glossaire sur l’eau Eau-France: Source: according to Ministry of Environment and Onema). Stations correspond to hydrometric stations, measuring stations * where surveys are carried out on one or more of the following elements relating to rivers, bodies of water and reservoirs: water height, flow rate *, transport and deposition of materials, temperature and other physical properties of water, ice cover characteristics and water chemical properties. Maps of the reference stations at the nodal points of the Rhin-Meuse SDAGE are contained in the map annexes of the Rhin-Meuse SDAGE.
