The dataset contains the following component of the CERS: reservoirs of surface-based biodiversity Biodiversity reservoirs are spaces in which biodiversity is richest or best represented, where species can complete all or part of their life cycle and where natural habitats can function, including sufficient size. They are home to nuclei of species populations from which individuals disperse. They are likely to accommodate new populations of species.
