As part of its contribution to the creation of a regional “littoral” platform with the objective, inter alia, to monitor and understand the phenomenon of coastal line erosion, DDTM83 proposes to identify and locate all authorised works and works (under the Environmental Code and/or the General Code of Ownership of Public Persons) and implemented in the Department to combat and/or address the effects of coastal line erosion.
The information summarised for this purpose is derived from:
— records Water Act (applications for authorisation, declarations, report-to-knowledge)
— AOT applications, DPM concession files,
— requests for an opinion on building permits from municipalities for properties bordering the DMP
The works and works listed are divided into four main typologies:
— beach protection works and works
— structures and works for the protection of port structures
— the reinforcement of cliffs and the coastal trail
— works and works for the protection of private property
For each work and work located on the coast, the following information is provided:
— their nature
— procedures under the Environmental Code and/or the General Code of Ownership of Public Persons to which they have been subject
— their contracting authority
— their dates of authorisation and implementation
— the amount of operations
— additional information contained in the dossiers and considered relevant to the objectives of the Platform.
