Simple download service (Atom) of the dataset: Zoning defined by the Paris department’s aerodrome noise exposure plans

The table N_PLAN_EXPO_BRUIT_AERO_S_075 lists the areas (A, B, C and D) defined by the aerodrome noise exposure plans, where those areas concern the Paris territory. At the date of the last update of the data, all of these areas originated from the noise exposure plan of the Paris-Issy-les-Moulineaux heliport. The zones are sectors exposed to noise levels between two predefined values, specified by the attributes i_lden_int (ceiling value) and i_lden_ext (floor value). Except for zone A (which has only an external border corresponding to the floor value), all zones are in the form of rings such as: — beyond the outer edge, the noise levels are lower than the floor value; — below the internal edge, the noise levels exceed the ceiling value. The noise exposure plans (PEBs) set out the conditions of land use exposed to aircraft noise nuisances. They may prohibit or limit construction in these perimeters, so as not to increase the populations subjected to nuisances. They anticipate the development of aviation activity, possible expansion of infrastructure and changes in air traffic procedures by 15/20 years. They include a presentation report and a 1/25 000 scale map showing areas exposed to noise. The importance of the exhibition is materialised by the letters A, B, C, or D. Zone A: Very high noise exposure Zone B: Exposure to strong noise Zone C: Exposure to moderate noise Zone D: Low noise exposure (optional, except for some aerodromes) The EPB is established by the prefect(s) of the department(s) concerned or likely to be affected by the nuisance. Once approved, it is annexed to the local planning plan. It may be revised at the initiative of the Prefect(s), where appropriate on a proposal from the Heliport Advisory Commission on the Environment (CEC). The aerodromes to be equipped with a BDP are those classified in categories A, B and C (nomenclature defined by the Civil Aviation Code). This also applies to aerodromes on a list drawn up by order of the Ministers responsible for defence, urban planning, civil aviation and the environment.
