Dataset description

Le Conseil International pour l'Exploration de la Mer (CIEM) a découpé la zone FAO 27 en secteurs subdivisés en sous-zones, divisions, sous-divisions, etc. Celles-ci servent de bases aux scientifiques qui établissent des diagnostics sur l'état de la ressource lorsqu'ils se réunissent en groupes de travail sous l'égide du CIEM. Ces secteurs sont également employés pour l'attribution des quotas de pêche. Il existe 113 sous-divisions rattachées aux divisions.
