The Saint-Malo Marine Submersion Risk Prevention Plan was approved by order of the Prefect dated 18 July 2017.
The SMPP is a regulatory document designed to improve the safety of people and property in the face of the risks of marine submersion. As a priority, it aims not to increase risks and to reduce vulnerability in the perimeters it covers, both from the point of view of future urbanisation and the construction and use of the territory.
The dimensions of the water line defined for item 2100 are expressed in the reference French altimeter system in NGF IGN 69, i.e. in metres in the official leveling network in metropolitan France, which is attached to the Marseille tide gauge.
These are relative height dimensions that do not correspond to a height of water but rather to the altimetry of the water body per 50 cm slice.
Constructive arrangements are provided for new constructions related to compliance with 2100.
