A line route corresponds to the actual route a bus takes on a line.
For one line, we will therefore have at least 2 routes described in the traffic direction A (north to south or from east to west) and the direction of traffic B (south to north or from west to east).
In addition, there may be variants of the main routes.
The route code is therefore constructed as follows:
— line code
— variant code:“01” = main route, “02” = variant 1, etc.
— indication of meaning: A or B
The lines are set as far as possible on the Referencel Routes and Addresses (RVA) of Rennes Métropole.
