Pursuant to the Law of 13 July 1982 on compensation to victims of natural disasters, Articles L.562.1 to L.562.7 of the Environmental Code and Decree 95.1089 of 5 October 1995. This Regulation lays down for risk areas the provisions applicable to existing goods and activities, the establishment of any new construction or installation, the performance of all works and the pursuit of any activity, without prejudice to the application of other laws or regulations in force; it thus determines which land occupations are prohibited or subject to conditions and the preventive measures to be implemented in respect of the risks of flooding and land movements. These preventive measures are intended to limit damage to existing property and activities and to avoid further damage in the future. The data are not enforceable, only the paper-based PLU approved in the Community Council is enforceable against third parties.
