Municipalities with a public land use plan or an approved local urban planning plan may, by deliberation, establish a right of urban pre-emption in all or part of the urban areas and future urbanisation areas defined by that plan. The procedures for establishing and exercising the right of urban pre-emption are laid down in Articles L211-1 et seq. and in R211-1 et seq. of the Urban Planning Code
Pursuant to Article R153-52 7°, the scope of the urban pre-emption right is to be annexed to the urban planning document.
