This theme includes all Variable Message Panels (PMVs) that display text, signals or diagrams. They can be operated manually or automatically.
PMV shall mean any road sign, usually remotely controlled, capable of displaying at least two different states on the same support: neutral state and one or more signals or messages. It provides users with varying prescriptions, advice or information over time. Messages are pre-programmed or compounded on demand.
