Wetlands of the department of Ain

According to the Environmental Code, wetlands are "land, whether or not exploited, usually flooded or swept with fresh water, salted or brackish permanently or temporary; vegetation, when it exists, is dominated by hygrophilic plants for at least part of the year”. (Art. L.211-1). The data available for download correspond to the ZH inventories validated by the Departmental Directorates of the Territories (DDT) of the various departments. These are methodological and alert materials for the various actors in the territory and the State water police services. These are by no means opposable zoning.
