Objets surfaciques (référentiel utilisé : BD TOPO) des zones de compétences (intercommunalité ou commune isolée) en alimentation en eau potable (AEP) sur le département de la Charente. Les communes peuvent transférer leurs compétences au profit de l’établissement qu’elles créent pouvant prendre la forme d’une coopération associative (syndicat et autres groupements) ou d’une coopération de projet (établissements publics de coopération intercommunale à fiscalité propre – EPCI). Ces établissements ne peuvent exercer que les compétences qui leurs ont été explicitement transférées soit par la loi, soit par ses communes membres.
