L' land use is the subject of a typology in a number of shifts varying according to the data origin.
Description of the land cover, on a large scale, according to a typology, declined in 3 levels.
The first level classifies the areas in a generic way, classifying them as artificialised land, agricultural land, forests and semi-natural environments, water surface.
The 2nd and 3 rd level allow to refine this classification.

In case of major update that would not be compatible with previous version of API, we keep for 30 days both versions so you will have enough time to transfer to new version. We will inform you about the changes in advance by e-mail.
