This database provides data at a fine level of detail since it is made by commune. The number of variables in this database is in the order of 80. Information on localised social and fiscal incomes and population characteristics, such as the type of housing, but also the average population density for identifying agglomerated areas is available.
Indicators of the services available per municipality are present, such as the number of pharmacies, general practitioners, nurses... but also the number of home care or home meal services. This makes it possible to establish the presence or absence of certain equipment and to ascertain the distance at which the equipment is located from the unequipped municipalities. Data from potential localised accessibility (PLA) will complement this information by measuring the supply and demand for care.
Data on the number of territorial civil servants and contract staff in the CASCs also provide an opportunity to know the number of people there for an elderly person and to locate them within the municipalities and to see where there is the least.
