Active Sensitive Natural Spaces (polygons)

Description: Within the framework of its specific competences, the Department implements a policy in favour of Sensitive Natural Spaces (ENS), which aims to protect and restore natural environments of particular heritage interest (fauna, flora, geology, landscape,...), on the one hand, and to allow the public to discover these environments and the species they host, as long as the opening to the public of these sites is compatible with their protection, on the other hand. Thus, about twenty sites have been labeled ENS and today make up the showcase of biodiversity present in the Doubs. At these sites, a partnership is engaged with the owners to implement the management and opening operations of ENS to the public. These operations are implemented either directly by the Department or by a local manager (community, mixed trade union, association...). This layer of data presents in particular the location of the ENS sites subject to concrete actions, their scope, the manager, as well as the progress of management and planning procedures for opening up to the public.
