Addresses of the streets and addresses of Rennes Métropole

Rennes Métropole has since 2013 a Referential Voies et Adresses (RVA) on the municipalities of the agglomeration. Location of the postal address in the form of a point. An address belongs to one and only one route. An address belongs to one and only one municipality. An address is located on the territory of the municipality of the road to which it belongs. An address is unique. Where possible, an address shall be located in the corresponding cadastral parcel and in front of the entrance to the building concerned (when this information is known). Failing to know the entry, the address is placed on the corresponding parcel and positioned in coherence with the neighbouring addresses (neither too close, nor too far from the section of the track to which it belongs).
