The average annual daily traffic (TMJA) of a road section is obtained by calculating the yearly average of the number of vehicles circulating on that section, in all directions, during a day.
These delayed-time traffic data are usually accompanied by an estimate (as a percentage) of the number of heavy goods vehicles used in their composition.
Each section of the road is defined by:
— his name (road)
— its length
— its starting (D) and end (F) coordinates expressed in coordinates (X, Y, Z) or by a road tracking system consisting of 4 attributes:
— PR = Road marker
— depPr = department where the PR is located
— concessionPr = indicates whether the PR is on a licensed section (C) or not (N)
— ABS = abscissa or distance (in metres) separating the point of the PR to which it relates
Other attributes complement these location attributes:
— yearMeasureTrafficking = year in which the measurements were made
— Type Counting Traffic = indicates whether the counting of vehicles has been carried out from a system permanently placed on the road or whether it is a record using a temporary metering system
— TMJA = annual average daily traffic
— RatioPL = percentage of heavy weights used in the composition of the TMJA
