Annual national developments in circuit lengths of the electricity transmission system (2011 to 2022)

Annual national evolution of the lengths (km) of circuits in operation of the electricity transmission network by voltage level (63 kV, 90 kV, 225 kV, 400 kV, etc.) and by nature of evolution (new infrastructure, renewal, underground, railway, other modifications). The evolutionary nature of a section is: * New: when the installation of the section is subject to a new route (e.g. a new link) * Renewed: when an overhead section is replaced by an overhead section or an underground section is replaced by an underground section * Placed underground: when an overhead section is replaced by an underground section * Scraped: when the section was physically removed from the network * Other changes: these are all variations in length not recorded in the new and ferrailed sections. This mainly concerns sections placed in reserve (disconnected from the network but still in place) but also error or length corrections * * *
