The code of urban planning defines two types of sectors for municipal maps: construction and inconstructible sectors. There are, however, special cases:- Graphic documents may define sectors reserved for industrial or craft activities, in particular those incompatible with the vicinity of inhabited areas.- They delimit, s' the sectors in which reconstruction at #x27;identical of #x27;a building destroyed by a disaster n' is not allowed.- Facilities necessary for collective facilities, for agriculture or forestry and for the development of natural resources are not covered by the principle of inconstructibility resulting from a classification. The sectors of the municipal map do not always cover the whole of the communal territory. The areas of the municipality not covered by a sector are represented by an object in order to cover the whole of the municipality.
__Origin__
The boundaries of a sector are shown on the graphical documents of the municipal map. They generally correspond to the limits of d' an aggregate of cadastral plots. The geometry of cadastral plots is a data derived from the cadastral geographical reference chosen at the time of the; elaboration of the document d' urbanism. This cadastral geographical repository can be either the Parcellar BD provided by the ¨#x27;IGN, or the computerised cadastral plan (CCP) provided by DGFiP.
