Areas Vulnerable to the pollutation by Nitrates of Agricultural Origin 2002 — Isère

The delimitation of zones vulnerable to pollution by nitrates of agricultural origin was made within the framework of Decree No 93-1038 of 27 August 1993, transcribing into French law Directive 91/676/EEC. This delimitation, prepared in each department and in each region by working groups, associating various departments and agencies, and representatives of the agricultural profession, is based on knowledge of nitrate levels in groundwaters and rivers, as well as on the levels observed at the time of various monitoring campaigns (1992-1993, 1997-1998, 2000-2001) on a monitoring network set up for this purpose. __Origin__ Perimeter of the municipalities concerned (administrative boundaries of BDCARTO).
