Articulation structures of the landscape of local importance of the south plateau of Millevaches — Limousin

Analysis of the local structures of the landscape in the southern half of the Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches en Limousin. By revealing the spaces, the articulation structures make up the structure of the territory and constitute the major elements of the landscape. Some of them are of the nature: — Morpho-geographic (capped valley, valley with flat bottom, summit, pass...) — anthropogenic (emblem road, architectural heritage...). Other elements complement these two broad genres, including: — the recognised panoramas, — natural singularities (rocky chaos...), or the villages occupying a point of articulation (such as a collar).
