Base Location (BAL) of Nantes Métropole * * * The Base Adresse Locale (BAL) is a structured address file, standardised according to the [recommendations](https://cms.geobretagne.fr/content/travaux-gt-ban-aitf) of the Association of Territorial Engineers of France ([AITF](https://www.aitf.fr/)). The purpose of this data model is to: * standardise the computer files of addresses distributed by local and regional authorities * to power the National Address Base more effectively * to promote the aggregation of these data at different scales * to promote reuse by the greatest number **Note:** The Paths and Addresses of Nantes Métropole has some particular features.
