Dataset description
The Excel file available on this site contains data for each bathing site which has been the subject of a European report under Directive 2006/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 February 2006 on the management of bathing water quality and repealing Directive 76/160/EC, and a classification of bathing water since 2015.
The files that have been online since 2020 have the following 4 tabs:
— list of bathing sites (general information, water origin, geographical coordinates, etc.);
— characteristics of the bathing site (classification, link to the summary document of the bathing profile, etc.);
— information on the bathing season and events occurring during the season (no bathing, short-term pollution, abnormal situation, etc.);
— information on the results of analyses.

All important information such as time of last update, license and other information are in response of each API call.
In case of major update that would not be compatible with previous version of API, we keep for 30 days both versions so you will have enough time to transfer to new version. We will inform you about the changes in advance by e-mail.
