Bicycle parking in Saint-Marcellin

This dataset lists the address of bicycle parking in San Marino, as well as their GPS coordinates and seating capacity. In this way, we are trying to improve the daily lives of cyclists in the municipality, and to pursue the policy of sustainable development, encouraging cycling. Potential uses: User information, favouring the development of larger cycling traffic; if citizens are aware of the distribution of bicycle seats in the municipality, they will be better able to prefer this means of travel, rather than opting for more polluting alternatives. Finally, this data will bring more safety to cyclists in the municipality, who will be able to find secure places dedicated to the installation of their vehicle, rather than having to leave them somewhere else. Collection process: The municipality of Saint-Marcellin had a map showing part of the parking spaces for bicycles. Using this database, we were able to identify and confirm parking locations on OpenStreetMap by calculating their geographic coordinates.
