Cabins Books

“Books in freedom” — This concept offers the opportunity to give and borrow the book of your choice in an old, refurbished telephone booth. * * * This open-air library encourages public reading through wide and free access to books, fostering social link and fostering exchange among readers. The idea comes from the Anglo-Saxon countries where the concept is welcomed by a growing success. The Town Hall of Rueil-Malmaison has decided to adapt this project by recycling a dozen telephone booths whose vocation was to disappear. Very transversal, it thus carries cultural, social, sustainable but also educational values. Indeed, the transformation of the cabins was entrusted to the young people of the Centre de Formation des Apprentis of the Rueil-Malmaison building. This dataset contains the geographical coordinates of the cabins across the territory of the City.
