The topics discussed are: digital connectivity and equipment, diversity and intensity of uses, digital skills, attitudes and representations towards digital and power to act.
The data collected aim in particular to feed the work undertaken within the framework of the “Capacity” research project, focusing on the realities of empowerment through digital uses in France, as well as the reflections of the Digital Agency, part of this survey.
The questionnaire also incorporates the “common issues” to each WIP (World Internet Project) member country in which M@rsouin participates for the first time in 2016 as a representative of France.
The survey took place from 17 November to 8 December 2016 and provided answers from 2036 French representatives of the French population aged 18 and over. The interviews were conducted face-to-face.
The representativeness of the sample is ensured by the method of quotas on the respondent’s sex, age, occupation, agglomeration category and geographic region (UDA5).
Quotas are crossed on sex and age and independent on occupation, category of agglomeration and region.
