Citizen Initiatives Accelerator Season 1 Grants

This dataset lists the amount of grants provided by DINUM to selected winners of Season 1 of the Citizen Initiative Accelerator Program. In addition to the thematic support useful to each project (linking, access to public data or APIs, assistance in understanding the administrative landscape and language...), three main types of needs have been identified within the framework of the programme: — consolidation needs, in order to strengthen the project-bearing structure, as well as its governance and processes, with a view to solidifying its model, making it replicable and enabling it to absorb future growth; — needs related to the integration of the project with the reference authority(s), in particular at national level; — needs related to the scaling up and deployment of the project, aimed at extending it to more land or territories. The award of a first interministerial ticket of EUR 80 000 at the end of Phase 1 to certain winners thus corresponds to seed funding, allocated to support “consolidation expenditure”. This envelope has enabled the projects to strengthen their bases, to reach critical milestones for their development and thus be able to absorb further growth. This contribution allowed them, for example, to: — Consolidate their governance, recruit one or more employees, — Developing technical bricks, securing their infrastructure, — To invest in content and communication media, — To finance an experiment in a territory, which can subsequently be multiplied... At the end of phase 2 a second tranche of EUR 60 000 was released to some laureates allowing them to strengthen their means of action.
