This background was made from [AdminExpress COG CARTO](https://wxs.ign.fr/x02uy2aiwjo9bm8ce5plwqmr/telechargement/prepackage/ADMINEXPRESS-COG-CARTO_SHP_TERRITOIRES_PACK_2022-04-15$ADMIN-EXPRESS-COG-CARTO_3-1__SHP__FRA_L93_2022-04-15/file/ADMIN-EXPRESS-COG-CARTO_3-1__SHP__FRA_L93_2022-04-15.7z), produced by IGN. The map background was generalised, then the anamorphosis was realised using the software [ScapeToad](http://scapetoad.choros.place/). ScapeToad uses [gastner/Newman algorithm](https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0400280101). The projection used is Lambert-93. The principle of anamorphosis is to make the surface of each municipality proportional to its population. The correspondence is of course not perfect.
