Dataset description
The Rhône Plan is a global sustainable development project on the river and its valley. It brings together the State, the Rhone Mediterranean Basin Committee, the Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Burgundy and Franche-Comté regions, as well as the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR). The Interregional Project Contract for the State-Region (CPIER) Plan Rhône aims to accompany the implementation of the Rhone Plan for the period 2007/2013. It consists of six thematic components: Culture and heritage, Flooding, Water quality — Biodiversity, Energy, River transport, Tourism. Geographical criterion: different areas of intervention exist, they are defined in each of the thematic strands of the CIERC.
