The objective of the study Individualisation of heating costs in collective housing is to provide concrete and objective data, as well as an accurate analysis of the cost of individualising heating costs (IFC) for the final user: cost decomposition, average prices and context sensitivity.
This cost study is the result of an iterative process conducted over a period of 9 months.
The data collected come from various sources (invoices, validated estimates and summary documents) and concern 301 residences in the public sector (social housing) and private sector (co-ownerships).
With about 275,000 dwellings, the study covers nearly 66 % of the French public park of RFCs (social housing equipped with IFC) and about 1 % of the private park (co-ownerships equipped with IFC);
Various validation processes of the collected data, coming from 90 % verifiable sources;
The weighting of observations by the number of lots in order to best match the reality of the contract;
Updating the data with a projection over 10 years, i.e. the duration of the current contracts.
