Dataset description

**The exceptional aid scheme for craftsmen and traders** The Council for the Social Protection of Self-Employed Workers (CPSTI) provides exceptional financial assistance to all traders and craftsmen who: — are in operation on 15 March 2020 — were registered before 1 January 2019. The aid corresponds to the amount of supplementary pension contributions paid by craftsmen and traders on the basis of their 2018 income and can go up to EUR 1 250. This aid is paid automatically by the Urssaf and does not require any action by the self-employed concerned. The amount of this aid is also exempt from income tax and social contributions and contributions. This exceptional assistance is in addition to all the measures taken by the Government in favour of self-employed workers since the beginning of the crisis. It complements a massive scheme to support the economic activity of craftsmen and traders in order to maintain their activity and enable a rapid and strong recovery of the economy. **The Business Aid Scoreboard** In order to offer visibility to all French people on the allocation of aid granted to enterprises, the Minister for Action and Public Accounts, with the technical support of the department [Etalab](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/etalab/) of the [Inter-Ministerial Directorate of Digital (DINUM)](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/direction-interministerielle-du-numerique/), make available a [scoreboard](https://github.com/etalab/dashboard-aides-entreprises) whose [source code is free](https://github.com/etalab/dashboard-aides-entreprises), which proposes a consolidated vision of the support provided to companies. **Data description** This dataset contains the data displayed on the “craftsmen/traders” tab of the dashboard.
