List of departmental councillors of Hauts-de-Seine * * * Departmental elections (ex-cantonales) appoint the members of the departmental council (former general) within the canton. It is with Law No. 2013-403 of 17 May 2013 on the election of departmental councillors, municipal councillors and community councillors, that the assembly that heads the department takes the name of the departmental council (in place of the previous designation of the General Council). The mode of election of departmental councillors (former general advisers) is also changed. In the March 2015 departmental elections, the new voting method applies for the first time: two departmental councillors are elected in each canton by two rounds.
